Halloween Frock Night!
Don't forget boys and girls, tonight is Beyond Retro's frock-fright night! Come down to either store for fabulous frocks and spooktacular Halloween outfits! There will be tricks and treats in both stores and the Cheshire Street store will be launching the next "East End Lights" Exhibit - featuring the amazing and macabre works of illustrator Rob Flowers.

The Demon', Starchild', Space Ace' and Catman' (aka KISS) were all in attendance... 
...along with their number one groupie, a demonic devil, a corpse bride and Alex from Clockwork Orange (complete with Beyond Retro bowler hat). 
Everyone went CrAzY for our weird and wonderful costume selection and, inspired by the spooky displays around the shop, customers left looking fantastically freaky!! <!--[if gte mso 9]> Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 <![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]> <![endif]--> <!--[endif]--> Other than the great costumes, shoppers could get their mitts on some tasty treats, including gooey eyeballs, sticky snakes and dangerous dentures. We ate monster munch and did The Monster Mash, It WAS a graveyard smash.

Beyond Retro's Halloween Spooktacular
It's Halloween time once again, and to help you find your perfect costume, we will be holding a FRIGHT FROCK NIGHT in both stores from 6- 8.30pm on Thursday 23rd October. We will be putting out an extra 1000 fabulous frocks and Halloween attire for that one night only, and there will also be tricks, treats and drinks. The 23rd will also be the opening night of our new East End Lights exhibition, where we display artwork in 4 huge lightboxes high above the street on the external walls of our Cheshire Street store. This time, we will be featuring the macabre work of award winning illustrator and film maker Rob Flowers (www.robflowers.co.uk).

Every evening from the 27th right through to the 31st October we will be screening classic children's Halloween films in our Cheshire Street store from 3:30pm.
There will be a children's film area complete with free organic popcorn, rails of vintage kid's Halloween costumes, and plenty of fabulous clothes for the grown-ups too!
And with films like The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Addams Family, Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Monster House showing it's too good to miss!

Tiny Wonders
For any of you who have been in our Cheshire street location this is a familiar sight:
For those of you who haven't, allow me to introduce Tiny.
Tiny is our beloved in store cat. She wandered into the shop 6 years back and has never left. She was born just down the road at another fabulous shop, Lik Neon, where she shared her home with her siblings. Determined to strike out on her own she packed her bag and wondered on down the street. She stopped (as most Shoreditch kids do) at Beyond Retro where she quickly became our, and your, favorite (seriously, you would not believe the amount of mail we get about her!). She even has her own MySpace page.
Over the years our little trouper has been through a lot, she's even shown up completely yellow after spending the day playing in a spice factory! She's come through it all unscathed, well mostly; she does have the worst sense of balance of any cat we have ever seen. Seriously, she never lands on her feet. She loves catnip, sleeping, and all the attention she can get! So next time your in be sure to give her a little love.

Soho Frock Night!
Our Frock Night extravaganza at Soho was electric and exciting, with loud music and free drinks. The customers had a wild time for the three hours it lasted.
